Produced and maintained technical manuals and instruction sheets for Strong's extensive product lines for U.S. and European markets. May 2003 to present Designed and produced various small freelance jobs for Community Alliance for Progressive Positive Action (CAPPA), a non-profit organization for at-risk youth. January 2003 - March 2003 Webb Communications Inc., Williamsport PA Art Director, Webb Communications Weekly Newspaper - Responsible for the look and feel of a weekly publication that was mailed to over 50,000 homes in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Duties included establishing style guidelines, assigning and directing photo-shoots, creating and producing art for the cover, special sections, self-promotional ads and illustrations for articles. Worked closely with the editors, to design and produce "a family-oriented newspaper" from what was a simple classified advertisement "shopper-type" newspaper. Directed art staff in the production of advertisements. Interacted directly with sales staff and management to achieve sales objectives. Created and redesigned sales materials, rate sheets, business cards, etc. Assisted in the development of a presence on the Web, designing support materials and graphic interfaces for use on the Internet. Used Mac and Windows platforms to create film output from Konica imagesetters. Proofed copy, scanned photos, made color keys and troubleshoot technical problems.
