This first cover was a challenge since I had very little art to work with. I could not predict the teams that would end up in the SuperBowl, and I could not use official team or NFL logos. But I did find a black and white line art of the Lombardi trophy. I used gradients in Photoshop to make it appear real.

Notice that the titleplate was much a simpler design. Additional elements were added later.
