Free the Jena 6!
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

(Rumors and hoaxes can spread like wildfire on the Internet. The following is a story that is incredible. A person can only hope that it is not true. Do some digging and find out for yourself.)

Conflict over the shade of a tree. A noose is hung. Angry black students respond in Jena, Louisiana. A fight occurs. One white teenager is attacked. That was how it began according to news reports.

Six black teens were charged with assault and attempted murder. Racial tensions in Jena are raised. Arguments and scuffles break out among black and white citizens.

Blacks say the charges are too harsh. And that white teens who fight in school get merely school suspensions.
